New survey finds that 66% of large consumer-facing companies plan to develop mobile app, vs. 73% plan to use mobile website

July 1, 2010 by MobileWebGo

A lot of companies are constantly asking what's more important: building a mobile website, or developing a mobile app. A new survey published in June 2010 gives you some idea of what companies are planning to do.

Mobile solutions provider Kony Solutions surveyed 119 large consumer-facing companies. They do not specify how many of the companies are Fortune 500 corporations.

The report is full of relevant information. The biggest drawback of the report is that Kony does not provide enough information about the companies that participated in the survey, and how the sample was chosen.

Below are some of the useful findings.
Please note that the questions are written by me and are not part of the Kony report.
